About Jim Corbett

Jim Corbett National Park was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park. Jeep and canter safaris run in zones such as Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela and Dhikala, with tigers, elephants, deer and over 500 bird species.

Safari permits sell out early, so book well ahead. Most zones close in the monsoon.
