Spiti is a remote high-altitude valley bordering Tibet. Key Monastery, Kibber, the fossil village of Langza and Hikkim, home to one of the world's highest post offices, are its best-known stops.

Kaza is the main town. Spiti can be reached via Shimla and Kinnaur or via Manali and Kunzum Pass; we plan the route for acclimatisation and road status.
