About Shimla

Shimla's colonial heart is the Ridge and Mall Road, lined with Christ Church, Gaiety Theatre and old Tudor-style buildings. Jakhoo Temple sits on the highest hill above town, and the Kalka–Shimla toy train is a UNESCO World Heritage railway.

It is an easy first mountain trip from Delhi and the base for day drives to Kufri, Chail, Mashobra and Naldehra.
